ArabTRUST was this week unveiled as the new joint sponsor of the Dundee Schools' FA Primary Leagues. The Dundee United Supporters' Society will sponsor the four local Primary School Leagues for the next two seasons along with the Dundee FC Supporters' Trust Dee 4 Life.
The money handed over to the DSFA from the two organisations will be used to support the running of the leagues, and will assist in meeting costs of medals, trophies, and other administrative costs. Both supporters' trusts were approached with the idea earlier this year by Gerry Dignan, President of the Dundee Schools Football Association, and allows the two supporters' trusts to work together for the common benefit of the local community.
"Making contributions to the local community - both within and outwith our respective clubs - is an integral part of a supporters trusts' objectives, and it seems appropriate that ourselves, along with Dee4Life, can jointly contribute to the running of primary schools' football in Dundee through the Dundee Schools FA", commented ArabTRUST Chairman Scott Simpson.
