Dundee United dominate to down Queen of the South
Dundee United consolidated second place in the Scottish Championship with a resounding 4-1 win at Queen of the South.
Scott Fraser bent in a corner on 14 minutes for Mark Durnan to nod in at the back post.
Midway through the first half, Tony Andreu flicked in a second from Paul Dixon's pass.
Grant Anderson, though, climbed high on the stroke of half-time to head home Stephen Dobbie's ball and halve the deficit.
In the second period, Fraser sealed matters with a firm shot from 20 yards.
Both sides hit the woodwork, but United added a fourth when Simon Murray lobbed the goalkeeper having been released by Andreu.
