"I'm delighted with the win. To win against your biggest rivals is great first and foremost but with that scoreline and the manner in which we won it's obviously even better.
"All credit to the players. Their response was right after last weekend's defeat at St Johnstone.
"If anything we scored very early in the match. I thought they came into it after that for the next 10 or 15 minutes. They put us under a bit of pressure and scored a good free-kick.
"It was a great delivery from the lad. But we got up and got the second goal and I always felt there would be goals in this game today.
"We had pace from middle to front and I think that caused them a lot of problems especially with our movement.
"It's great to send the fans away home happy. We now have to look to another big game on Sunday away to Partick Thistle."
