Jon Daly believes he is playing up front for Dundee United with a future Scotland striker in David Goodwillie after the pair shared the goals to defeat Kilmarnock at Rugby Park. Goodwillie opened the scoring for United after 15 minutes and that advantage was doubled by strike partner Daly on 69 minutes to set up an eventual 2-1 victory for the visitors. An injury-time goal from Conor Sammon failed to repair the damage for a Kilmarnock team reduced to 10 men by Frazer Wright's 82nd minute ordering-off. Daly hailed the prolific Goodwillie's latest contribution for United and predicted an international future for a player already part of the Scotland Under-21s set-up. He said: "It was nice to see Goody scoring again. I think David is an excellent player, I think anyone who watches him in training every day knows he has the potential to go all the way. "If he keeps his head and keeps his feet on the ground then he can go all the way, if he keeps that form up I don't think it will be long until he gets a full call-up to the national team. It's one of the most productive partnerships I've been involved in, in terms of goals and general link-up play."
