Dundee United held by Dunfermline despite Tony Andreu strike
Tony Andreu scored his third goal in two matches as promotion-chasing Dundee United were held to a 1-1 draw by Dunfermline.
Dundee United broke the deadlock after 18 minutes when Frenchman Andreu found the back of Sean Murdoch's net from the edge of the area.
The visitors came close to doubling their lead two minutes later when Blair Spittal hit a post, but it was Dunfermline who found the net in the 28th minute when John Herron got on the end of Kallum Higginbotham's cross to head in his first goal for the club.
The draw saw leaders Hibernian extend their lead at the top to eight points after they beat Queen of the South 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.
