"Conway's been absolutely beasting it in the gym," said Houston. "He is just desperate to get back playing again.
"Because he is so frustrated when he is not playing, he channels all his energy and strength into working ever so hard in the gym.
"I notice a big difference in him already, but what you have to watch is that he does not become too muscle-bound.
"We were doing a spin session in the gym the other day and I was watching him fly through it, and when you see him lifting some of the weights, it is pretty obvious he's a very strong guy.
"He was in great nick at the end of last season, but has probably bulked even up more since he has been out.
"I have not had to tell him to scale back yet on the weights side of things, but we will obviously keep an eye on it.
"At the moment, I just think he looks powerful. There is nothing wrong with that for a winger.
"I doubt if defenders will relish coming up against him, and as long as his knee is okay that's the main thing."
