It was a big blow for Garry Kenneth not to come back out the tunnel for the second half at Ibrox this Saturday past which went along way to explaining a score line that flattered Rangers. United had the bulk of the possession in the first half but are badly missing that creative spark that the injured Danny Swanson provided for much of last season and with Kenneth joining him and a host of other first team regulars in the treatment room, it will be a make shift team that face Ross County tonight in Dingwall in a rerun of last seasons Scottish cup final. With United off to a relatively slow start in the league, it is important that the players get through this tough cup tie and prove to the fans that they are not resting on their laurels of last seasons cup win.
